Vocal Lessons Overview
02
Imagine yourself singing like you always wished you could, every vocal note and emotion pouring out of your soul, stunning your audience. Imagine the confidence you'll have on stage when you have learned every facet of your beautiful voice and have mastered them, now singing effortlessly, with nothing holding you back.
This ability comes from several things: a gift to sing, hard work learning your voice, learning to sing from your soul and passion, and practice that makes a difference.
If you are a vocalist in a band, someone still in school wanting to learn how to sing, or you want to knock those karaoke lyrics out of the park hanging with your friends, or maybe you just want to sing your best in your car on the way to work, I can train you to be your best and to have fun doing it.
I can teach you the following, from decades of experience:
— Singing in full voice, falsetto, head voice, growl and how to transition between all of these.
— How to strengthen your voice
— Increasing your octave range extension
— Note fluidity like pop soul singers
— Singing freestyle scales and melody lines
— How to find your own sound and style and master it
— How to emulate other singers
— Harmony and singing with others naturally
— How to make practice fun while mastering your vocal skills
— Singing from your soul
— Finding the Pitch of notes quickly
— Timing and moving timing
— Taking care of your voice and avoiding injury
I can guarantee that we will have an absolute blast singing! Unless you're a grouch, lol. Lessons can take place in south Brooksville in my family’s home, or at your home as long as the right conditions for learning are present.
Reply to me through Craigslist mail with your email address or phone and I will reach out to you to discuss your needs.
Guitar Lessons Overview
If you’re wanting to learn electric bass or guitar and are having a tough time of it, I fully understand that. I struggled for years to learn bass and guitar because everyone’s methods are horrible. Then I learned better, easier methods that I can teach to you, which is from world renown teachers and players codified in the book: The Music Lesson, which is actually a novel about how to find music in you. I have extracted the method from the book to teach you. You will play music the first day and it will be fairly easy. These methods are the fastest way to play and master playing songs, and finding notes and playing improv with any piece of music.
First, you will not be taught like anyone ever taught you. You will learn how to identify a song’s Tonality Key and play with that song on day 1. You will learn how map out a pattern on your instrument, and then feel where the song is going, so you can play with it. You will learn solo note playing first, just like cello or viola or horns and woodwinds. You will also learn how to master the patterns of the neck and how to translate any song’s chord charts into an easy note map to play. I will show you the fundamentals of how notes work together, called Harmony.
I will show you how to get develop great sounds with your amps, guitars and effects, sounds that demand attention. And importantly, help you get your instrument set up with the right strings and adjustments to make it as easy as possible on your fingers as you develop hand strength.
After these lessons, I teach using chords and which ones work together using fantastically easy illustrations on paper that will last a lifetime.
What I won't teach you while learning bass or guitar is staff music. If you need to learn staff music to play classical or older jazz, you should do that after you learn your instrument with this method to a moderate level. Simply because staff music is not used that much unless you work in orchestras or on film scores or you do classical recitals. Staff music can be useful in some situations, most people don't need to master much to make it useful.
Bass and Guitar lessons are priced below market rates at only $40 an hour, plus driving, in case lessons are in your home. I set the rate low, so just about anyone can afford to learn with me.
Music Producer
for the Recordings of your Dreams
I produce songs so they sound like they come from the heart, so they connect at the fundamental humanity level. No matter the style, we can make sure your songs are crafted and recorded just right. If you need a music producer, I have worked on over 100 record projects and with more bands than I can count. I only do full radio release completed singles and album productions, and song crafting assistance, I no longer do demos. We track in a live studio space with a band, add vocals and overdubs. Then we mix until we find the best mix version possible, followed by mastering for radio and streaming.
Do you need Class A musicians, orchestrations or interested in working in a famous studio, we can make that happen too. Many of the world famous players are available for hire for day sessions for reasonable rates, you might be surprised who you can record with.
Inquire about your project as I budget records and recording projects by their requirements and do not have a flat rate. We record ALL MUSIC, from singer songwriter acoustic players, metal bands, rock, country, orchestral, opera, choirs, EDM, pop, soul, gospel. The only music we don't produce is Hip Hop/Rap, it's not in our skillset and music tastes.
These days anyone with a computer and space can call themselves a "Recording Studio", but you want your recording to be something that people will listen to, right? A true record producer - engineer knows things about recording, acoustics, instruments, amplifiers and sound creation that someone new or with low experience has never heard of. The secret sauce and knowledge of professional audio engineers takes decades to create and master, and is the main reason why most successful records are made by older producers with experience. Additionally, an experienced producer will likely be more innovative because of the skillset they have. We just know how to create new fresh sounds, because we've been doing it longer.
However the most important aspect of recording a great song right, and that’s the clincher, it must to be recorded right from the start. And that means more than technically right, we look for the magic. Great recordings are not made by the price tag of gear, or by fads like autotune, or by mimicking someone else. They are made by careful production techniques proven over and over again to make hit singles and masterpieces. Hits are only made constantly by experienced producers.
Work Experience
I've worked on projects in recording technical capacity and editing, tracking for many artists, here are a few you may know: Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Peter Mafay (Germany), Grateful Dead, U2 @ Saturday Night Live, Rolling Stones, Bob Marley for Universal Records, George Duke, Korn, PRODUCERS: Phil Ramone, Frank Fillipetti, Eric Zobler, Toby Scott, Michael Bienhorn, Danny Wallin and Elmer Bernstein, Peter Maffay, Michael Wagoner, STUDIOS: MBC Television Korea, Sony Music Japan, Sony Music Canada, The Hit Factory, Eurosound Germany, Media Ventures, AIX, Todd AO Production Studios, Emerald Nashville, Skywalker Sound, Microsoft Studios, Studio X, Robert Lang Studios, Cornerstone Recording.
As far as understanding music quality and helping you write songs, I was co-lead judge for Billboard Magazines International Song Contest for two years with Jim Halsey, legendary music entrepreneur, when I ran the company for Billboard.

I hold a Jessica Lundsford Flordia Certification Badge proving I’ve been background checked and safe around children and allowed to work in public schools. I produce for churches and have undergone many background checks to verify my security. I’m happy to show you my security badge.
I am happily married to my wife of 30 years, have two teen musician boys and have served my community yearly in many ways.
